Deliciousness Alert · Life · You're Gonna Love This

And Now In Food News, February 28th

I’m always reading a ton about food. I scroll foodie websites and love brushing up about dishes going viral and hot new restaurants and trends. Sometimes I plan a whole weekend around testing new places and looking for content for Jen’s Little Black Book. So because I’m so food focused on a daily basis as I’m trolling and collecting info (yes, way beyond the three square meals) occasionally I come across some noteworthy items that I think are important to share.

Up first is the best name for a product I’ve seen in a while. Hats off to the genius marketing guru at McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams who thought up the name of this pint!

And let’s be honest, the names of some specialty farm to table restaurants have gotten outrageous. Have you noticed, too? Here’s one of my favorites…

In fact, I’m so focused on food that I’m sure you can guess that I thought the below was a huge serving of Kraft Mac & Cheese! I’m wondering if you did, too?

And then I sometimes question the universe with interesting food observations like this one…

Lately I’ve been loving places that offer a huge smattering of dippables that accompany a main course. Food hits so differently with certain condiments. In fact, I swear those platters make me swoon…

And some food has gotten so cute! Food artisans are just so creative.

But I have to admit that I love being mandated to work from home. I do have a lot of weekday business lunches that are completely professional and delicious and I’m so lucky for that. So I never have to deal with co-workers like this one since the “work fridge” happens to be the one in my own kitchen…

After a weekend of trying new foods and tasting new trends, sometimes I need a day of cleansing to eat healthy and get back on track. This takes dedication and commitment and, sigh, sometimes kale.

But once I’ve done a hard reset, I’m immediately on the hunt for my next foodie bucket list item. And these Reese’s Frozen Fruit Banana Slices look incredible! If you find them, let me know. And if you love me, FedEx them please!

Eating to live is obviously essential. But living to eat is more mah style!
