After authoring ten fun editions of the mini dining guide, Jen’s Little Black Book, I brought the concept online with monthly restaurant reviews I called Digital Dining. Both writing and food have always been great passions of mine, so using Jen’s Little Black Book as a tool for my primary role in business development was my way of putting a personal twist on sales and marketing. And I developed quite a following! Thousands of hungry readers were happy the franchise continued into the digital world.

“Life moves pretty fast.
If you don’t stop and look
around once in a while,
you could miss it.“
Ferris Bueller
Fast forward to 2020…like many, I lost my job at the start of the pandemic (terrible timing!) just as so many beloved restaurants were shuttering. So I changed gears. Wanting to keep the theme of an insider’s guide going, I tweaked my concept and penned my very first novel (yay!). Jen’s Little Black Book: Bacon Wrapped Dates is a full-sized fictional tell-all that details the juicy dating stories of a divorcée living in NYC.

Travel with the main character, Jen, as she navigates single life with hope, a sense of humor, a few snappy one-liners, and some killer shoes.

This blog brings a new dimension to the Jen’s Little Black Book brand with relatable content that I hope you enjoy and share. The main theme is of course food-related, but I promise to pepper in humor, movie quotes, recipes, and some fun nostalgic references. Don’t worry– shout-outs will continue for the amazing folks who keep me smiling throughout my creative journey.
