For me, the best thing to come out of the pandemic has been the work from home allowance. Were it not for this flexibility, Michael and I would not have been able to visit Paris for a whole entire month while still working as if we had never left Eastern Standard Time.

During our bakeryfest, shopping extravaganza, and sightseeing megatour, we discovered so many incredible places, sights, smells, and of course tastes. We happily raced back to old favorites but were adventurous enough to shuffle into a whole slew of places new to us. We hoofed it around The City of Light for 30 days averaging 5.5 miles a day (OMG) and probably ingested in the neighborhood of 2500 calories a day (holy shit) to counterbalance the miles we clocked! And we totally indulged in every way possible, while feeling zero regrets and enjoying the hell out of each and every minute abroad.

I’m not promising, but I’m considering a 2023 Best Of Paris List to publish after I edit my notes and recover from the serious jetlag that accompanies adjusting to the return to normal life as I once knew it. So if you didn’t get enough of France from my recent food blogs, I’ve included a few fabulous snaps from the trip below. These pictures are well worth a thousand of words, and possibly a million calories. Enjoy!

Home is of course where the heart is, however Paris now feels like a second home… especially when I’m able to play house with the greatest guy I know. So although we’re back, we’re still talking about the trip non-stop… sort of like it was yesterday because, yeah, it was.
