For all of you fashionistas out there who frequent the schmancy stores and stay current with the hottest new styles, it’s time for a shoe review. Cue the music! I give you the Comic Balloon Pump from the Spanish luxury brand Loewe. Apparently there is an actual shoe hiding under all those party favors. In fact you can juuuust make out the heel in the bottom right corner.

And the thing about this brand? Loewe is not pronounced “low.” Oh no! It’s pronounced “loo-way-vay.” If you ask me it’s a little snarky. So I think I’m gonna call it Low.

And here’s the lowdown… You may purchase this wallet deflating debacle at Bergdorf Goodman for the Loewe Loewe price of $1850.00, but you have to act now because they are a pre-order and might sell out– it’s New York after all and people here are… how do I frame this correctly… fashion forward? For what occasion you’d need red latex balloon pumps with a round toe, 3.5 inch chunky heel, and leather trim I really cannot say. Maybe these are a literal step up from your traditional clown flats? Or perhaps you have an upcoming Black-Tie Bozo Convention? I doubt they will be blowing up on Instagram unless you can actually inflate them. So are these shoes Jen’s Little Black Book-Worthy? That would be an enthusiastic no. In fact, these kicks are truly a new Loewe.
