It’s the big game today and I’m not even watching. Usually I do a football pool and drop $20 on a few boxes hoping I win the fourth quarter haul of $500 smackers. This year since you can see all the commercials without having to suffer through the actual game, and gathering indoors is not advisable, I’m benched. I do hope Brady pulls off the win. Maybe I’ll just watch the last ten minutes in case the guy makes history, again. (Sorry New York fans, the man is officially the GOAT.)
Today I’m focused on more exciting bowls, like the gorgeous salad bowl made by none other than my sister, Ally. A stick to your ribs pasta bowl sounds amazing too. Greasy but satisfying lo mein noodles with veggies are always a Sunday fave, and who could say no to a hummus bowl with crispy pita chips. (Another snap from my niece, Syd.) Michael isn’t here today, or I might be stirring a nice pot of chili for later.

Since it is a lazy Sunday with more snow coming (what the actual f*#k is happening with the weather?), I might just kickoff dinner with a super big bowl of cereal or get crazy and order in wings. My halftime treat can be a few scoops of ice cream and I could touch down in my bed before the Gatorade is even tossed– now there’s a super idea.
